Meet the team – here at Tickhill Dental & Implant Centre, we’re a small but perfectly formed team caring for patients in Tickhill and South Yorkshire, many of whom have been coming to our practice for decades. As well as providing high-quality dental and hygiene services, all our team members keep up-to-date with the latest developments in dentistry, so that we can continue to invest in technology and techniques that make treatment faster and gentler than ever.

Neil Aylott - Dentist

Neil is an experienced dental and implant surgeon, and regularly places dental implants in South Yorkshire. Qualifying as a dentist from the University of Wales College of Medicine Dental School in Cardiff in 2000, Neil brings almost two decades of experience to Tickhill Dental and Implant Centre.
After qualifying, he worked to gain a broad range of clinical experience practising in a wide variety dental environments. He has worked in hospitals, gaining experience in oral and maxillo-facial surgery and paediatric dentistry, and in the community, where he focused on treating nervous children and adults. Neil subsequently decided to pursue a career in general dentistry.
Neil has also continued to further his professional qualifications since qualifying as a dentist, becoming a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2004, having passed a series of rigorous examinations.
Neil has been at the helm of Tickhill Dental and Implant Centre since 2010. He has a special interest in dental implants and graduated with distinction from the University of Warwick Medical School with a Master of Science degree in Implant Dentistry. This has enabled him to bring a superior level of dental implant expertise to his practice at Tickhill Dental and Implant Centre.
Neil is passionate about dentistry and oversees a team at Tickhill Dental and Implant Centre that prides itself on delivering a high standard of care to every patient, with practitioners who demonstrate their skill and experience across the whole spectrum of dental treatments.
Outside of dentistry, Neil enjoys spending time with his daughter Isabella, and is a keen amateur photographer.
Sarah Miles - Hygienist

Sarah graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2012 with a dual qualification in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. A passionate advocate of oral health, she was also awarded the TePe prize for excellence in oral health promotion.
Sarah has a very welcoming and reassuring manner and can easily adapt to the specific requirements of each patient – a skill that is particularly reassuring for anyone who is nervous or about coming to the dentist. With her energetic and positive approach, Sarah successfully motivates patients to improve their oral health. Giving them the confidence to smile is second nature to Sarah.
At Tickhill Dental & Implant Centre, Sarah currently works part-time to provide a range of private hygiene treatments, from basic scaling and polishing to more advanced, non-surgical periodontal therapy and implant maintenance.
Outside work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her fiancé and taking long walks with their two black Labradors.
