What are the benefits of Denplan?
As well as being able to spread the cost of your dental care, you’ll receive access to Denplan’s 24-hour Worldwide Dental Emergency Helpline and cover in place for up to £10,000 worth of treatment following a dental injury.
What’s included in my plan, and how much will it cost?
Your dentist will tailor your plan to suit your needs. Costs are set by each individual practice, and Denplan collects the monthly fee.
Am I covered if I am abroad?
Denplan payment plans include Supplementary Insurance, which covers you in the UK and abroad. If you’re planning a trip abroad, make a note of both your Denplan registration number and the 24-hour Worldwide Dental Emergency Helpline number – +441962 844999.
Are laboratory fees included with Denplan?
No – if you need a crown or other restoration to be created by a dental technician, you will need to settle the cost of this directly with your dentist.

Who is entitled to free NHS dental care?
NHS dental treatment is free for anyone under the age of 18, and under-19s in full-time education. Women who are pregnant, or who have had a baby within the 12 months before treatment starts, also qualify for free NHS care. What can I expect from my NHS dentist?
You’ll receive a thorough examination of your mouth, teeth and gums during your dental check-up, with advice on maintaining good oral health and preventing future problems. Any treatments considered essential to your oral health will be available through the NHS. Your dentist will explain the NHS treatment options available to you, as well as other work that you might prefer to undergo privately. Costs and treatment plans will be clearly explained in writing.
